WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP was founded in 2007 by Corinne Heijn who is based in the Netherlands. Her mission is to travel around the world to locate and connect women entrepreneurs. Most of them are often invisible and hardworking, while having ample needs to be fulfilled.

Corinne: 'I am passionate about women entrepreneurs who want to make a difference. Not only can women entrepreneurs empower each other, they also act as successful role models who are economically independent and employ more women. Time and again I have had the privilege to experience how women immediately relate to each other. WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP helps you to identify new business opportunities and provides access to business services in order to get the deals done.'

Membership is by recommendation and invitation. Building credibility and trust is vital. Once the first 100 members are enlisted and the website is functioning effectively, the network will accelerate to welcome thousands of women. Competent women who want to transform their local enterprise into a successful international business can connect and grow.
